Our beautiful Canterbury Series bracelets have been inspired from the Canterbury Cathedral in Canterbury. The Canterbury Cathedral is one of the oldest and most famous cathedrals in England and it is a UNESCO world heritage site. Several people in the medieval ages made pilgrimages to this Cathedral, putting their lives in danger, travelling through arid lands and harsh climates just to have their ailments cured and their prayers answered.
The true magnificence of this cathedral is felt when one enters it and stands in the main nave. With high ceilings and giant pillars, one feels humbled and minuscule in the presence of such grandeur.
Despite this grandeur, there is a certain sort of peace and serenity that takes one over. The air is filled with calm and the ambience is perfect for meditation. One could sit here in this grand nave and dream about all things that were, are and are to be. One could connect to oneself, one could connect to the world and one might even connect to a higher being. There seems to be a certain sort of cool and warm energy about this Cathedral that inspired our bracelets. There is also a feeling of spirituality that inspired our bracelets.
For our canterbury series bracelets, we chose natural stones as these are synonymous with the energy and spirituality we felt in the cathedral. Natural stones have been thought to have healing powers for a long time now. Depending on the type of natural stone, natural stones are thought to have a calming effect on the mind and body, aid meditation and enable one to be grounded with the natural energy of the earth. One could gain strength and confidence to face the troubles in life. Through meditation, one could question the meaning of life and find their purpose in life to live it in the best way possible.
Our Canterbury series moonstone natural stone bracelets are comprised of moonstone natural stones and a black lava bead.
White Howlite natural stones are thought to reduce stress & insomnia, calm the mind and facilitate learning.
Light Blue Imperial Jasper natural stones are thought to increase contentment and compassion and achieve wholeness.
Our Canterbury series bracelets are special because they are made of several different natural stones that come in various colours and styles. This was also inspired from the stained glass windows that we saw in the Canterbury cathedral. We fell in love with all the colours and felt that colour itself could promote a happy and healthy life in a sometimes black and white world.
Sometimes, there is a need to make something special such as the natural white howlite natural stone, opal beads and pearl beaded bracelet yours. Because it is thought to provide such healing powers, one can get attached to it. We are giving you the power to make it yours completely by enabling you to add your initials to these beautiful white howlite natural stone, opal bead & pearl bead bracelets. These initials could be the initials of your names. Either you can use one initial to represent your first name and the second initial to represent your surname. They could also represent someone else who is special to you or they could represent something that has a symbolic/spiritual meaning to you.

As always, we love these natural stones and the mystical meanings behind the white howlite, opal and pearl stones. Not only are they beautiful, but they also add an element of spirituality to our bracelets. These sort of myths have usually been passed down from various cultures and generations gone before us, however, please note that these white howlite, opal and pearl stones cannot be used to replace prescriptions or health care information. They may be useful to some as an aid to help healing. Furthermore, whether or not these natural stones do have the protective powers as believed by our ancestors, we will never know, but the mystery of it all excites us – which is why we love adding these beautiful white howlite, opal and pearl stone beads to our jewellery range.

But what is 3d printing?
3d printing is an ultra cool process of creating your personalised custom initial bracelet plates from scratch using a 3d printer.
Put simply, 3d printing is a process in which solid 3-dimensional objects are created from a digital file, using a 3d printer.
The digital file comprises of the information from the options that you select when personalising your item.
A 3d printer then creates the item through a series of layers as it prints back and forth. Each layer (comprised of the material you select) is laid down successively, one after another, and glued together until the 3dimensional product is created.
Mindblowing, right? Forget the personalisation for a second. We think the novelty of owning a product that is 3d printed is amazing in its own right.
